From the court to the decks
Born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia, USA, Jukebox Simmy is an American DJ and professional basketball player whose journey has always been driven by passion, discipline, and a love for competition.
Born on May 13, 2001, Simmy has played basketball since the age of seven. After losing his mother at just 11 years old, basketball became an important part of his life and a source of purpose as he grew up. His dedication to the game eventually led him to Presbyterian College, where he played NCAA Division I basketball from 2020–2024. Today, he continues his basketball career as a professional player in Malta.
Outside of basketball, Simmy discovered another passion through electronic music. He began his DJ journey in 2022, initially drawn to dubstep and the energy of bass-driven music. In 2024, his sound took a major turn after experiencing Franky Rizardo perform at Higher Love in Malta. The energy, groove, and atmosphere of house music immediately connected with him, inspiring him to make house and tech house the foundation of his DJ identity.
Now performing as Jukebox Simmy, he brings the same intensity, discipline, and energy that define him as an athlete to the dance floor. His sound centers around groovy, rolling house and tech house, built around infectious basslines, high energy, and a focus on keeping people moving.
From Carrollton, Georgia to the basketball court in Malta and now behind the decks, Jukebox Simmy continues to build his story one set at a time.
